Month

It's been exactly a month since i have posted something and it's definitely not like me at all, my apologies to all my readers out there.

I've been working super hard at the 9-5 as previously posted and shooting a lot less then i would like to but, nonetheless i have some new ish for everyone. I wanna give thanks to those out there who have put me on their map and those that have offered to in the future. Big ups as usual to The Park for allowing me to cover the filming of the La Pena event back in early April. Thanks to the homie Young Haitti for allowing me to Film for the video "Poplife" and to The Jealous Guys  for giving me props & for our future projects. Also HUGE shouts to The Moholy Ground Crew for putting me up in their very first issue.

John McCoy, Leslie Henderson, Sunny Angulo, Tej Virdi, Leo Docuyanan, Juanita Bruton, Ricardo Cruz, Brian Ferrera, Jeff Bostic, Gabe Wheeler & Monique Low

There's alot of things i would like to write about since last post , cause alot can happen in a month and i will soon but, for now some of those images i'm know best for.

Zoin I & The Grouch

I don't know what else to say except that i'm truly excited about 2010.

Photo ops, Video Projects & Gallery Showings are being offered to me and i feel incredibly blessed to have these inconceivable opportunities come my way this year. I feel good inside and i hope this continues.

Big ups to the homies Tim House , Zumbi , Amp Live & The Grouch for allowing me to be a part of great things in the two thousand and ten.

Here's a few from the other day.

206

I'm sittin' here geekin' out on a saturday night rendering video files , editing photos ect..ect.. and i wanted to post a little something about a scene i have followed pretty religiously for the past few years. It must have been back in 05' i started finding all these insanely talented cats from Seattle on myspace. Now, i love east coast hip hop and the Cali has a grip of talent as well but, wow the northwest has a stronghold on the hip hop something crazy. I think i stumbled over Macklemore & Kublikai first then Symmetry & Ryan Lewis and after that it was one talented soul after another. So, basically i wanted to write this to drop some names, pay my respects and enlighten others who aren't aware of some of what the 206 has to offer.

I won't be posting any of my work in this entry, instead links to all the incredible people that i want my readers to check out. Here is The Fake Empire Video project Featuring Macklemore and many others, produced by Ryan Lewis 09'.

And these next two short videos are from the making of  "The Town" by Macklemore

Produced by Zia Mohajerjasbi who has recently become my new favorite videographer.

I really love sharing other peoples work thur my site and i hope you all enjoy me taking a break from posting my work for the sake of these hard working individuals.

They inspire me and i hope they do the same for you.

Here's some links to other Seattle folk that i dig.

Lucid P.O.D Homestead

Somehow someway i have never posted about these two photographers that i truly admire.

First we got Jacob Schere "aka" M2C who pumps out some of the most memorable images i've ever seen of Japan. You can read up on him and check his work out at Lucid Communication Dot Com and make sure you check his design work as well. He's been shooting alot lately and posting so much i'm having a hard time keeping up with his blog!. (his aug 11th post with the golden rope is insanity!)

Then we got Trevor Christian "aka" Bones at Roam And Click Dot Com . This former San Franciscan shooter is also one of the only people i have ever gone out on a photo excursion with. His passion for vibrant color reflects in every pixel per square inch and i'm very glad to know this individual. These days you can find bones banging out shots from the streets of Burlington Vermont and back up to the haystacks of Charlotte. I hope to link up with them both sooner than later cause they are a very strong influence to my work and how i see the world around me.

The images below i should have posted awhile ago but, luckily everyone who was there that day pretty much posted them on the nets already!

I was recently intoduced to some pretty incredible people and i'm very happy to be in thier company.

The Day After Forever

One last entry tonight , i promise!

I don't know why i haven't posted about this before because it's one of the highest honors i've had thus far as a photographer. I've been a fan of The Crown City Rockers since i was first schooled to them a awhile back and while working on my book i was offered to be a visual contributor to the new release "The day after forever"

I'm very excited about this and i feel lucky to know these guys.

The album is slated for release on september 29th and here is a quick listen and look of the final product.
